Use Dash to order your next skip bin!
Today, following successful trials in both Auckland and Christchurch, EnviroWaste launched Dash, an app that shortens the time it takes our account holding customers to organise skip bins for their site or sites.
The Dash app removes the need for customers to phone or email their local EnviroWaste branch - now all they need to do is use the app to organise for a skip bin to be delivered, removed or exchanged.
We’ve also taken advantage of various Google frameworks, so that customers can easily set their service location using Google Maps. Through the app, customers can also let our team know of any hazards they need to be aware of at their site. And for added assistance, the Dash app is also available in Mandarin.
Dash was developed by the EnviroWaste Technology team using a new framework called Flutter. This framework is built by Google and allows streamlined development so that Dash can be pushed to the Apple and Android app stores, using one process. What this effectively means, is that future releases and upgrades can be done more quickly, so that the app remains up-to-date on users' devices.
