Yoghurt pots and margarine tubs help resurface New Plymouth road

Road Science recently announced their partnership with EnviroNZ to investigate the use of waste plastic in New Zealand’s roading products. A large scale trial of Plas Mix was delivered last month in New Plymouth, which was the first example in New Zealand where hard plastic has been used to surface a public road. The trial consumed 500 kilograms of hard plastic waste in 100m2 of road.
